Negotiations Finalized, Credit Ran, Financing Approved, Deposit Submitted, Then The Car Disappeared!! We attempted to purchase a 2025 Corvette Z06 from George Moore Chevrolet. The issue was not simply that the vehicle sold. The issue was the sequence of events and how the transaction was handled. We negotiated the vehicle price and trade value. The dealership ran our credit, submitted our information to lenders, obtained financing approval, and provided us with the lender, loan terms, interest rate, and estimated payment. After that approval was obtained, we were asked to submit a $2,500 deposit, which we did. We also received a receipt for the deposit. Along with, a congratulations on your new Z06 from the finance officer that is on a recorded phone line. After all of that, we were informed the vehicle had been sold to someone else. To be clear, the dealership did reverse/cancel the deposit, and the charge did not remain on our account. However, that does not change the concern. A customer should not be taken through the financing process, given approved loan terms, asked for a deposit, and then told the vehicle is no longer available. A good dealership should clearly communicate when a vehicle is or is not being held. If the vehicle remained available to other buyers, that should have been clearly disclosed before running credit and requesting a deposit. Once financing approval was obtained and a deposit was requested, the reasonable expectation was that the vehicle was secured pending final paperwork. We too have all of these details in a text. Every hoop we were asked to jump through, we did. This was especially disappointing because this was handled over the phone rather than in person. Had we been sitting in the finance office, I do not believe the transaction would have been treated the same way. Out-of-state and over-the-phone customers deserve the same respect, communication, and process as customers physically present in the showroom. The dealership’s response focuses on the deposit being reversed, but that is not the main issue. The main issue is that credit was run, financing was approved, loan terms were provided, a deposit was requested and submitted, and then the vehicle was sold. That process was unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Perhaps the most disappointing part of this experience is that, even after all of the time invested by both parties, the dealership’s response was simply that the vehicle had been sold and the deposit was canceled. At no point was there an offer to help locate a comparable vehicle, search dealer inventory, explore a dealer trade, or otherwise attempt to salvage the transaction. Customer service at its LOWEST! Mistakes happen in business. What separates a great dealership from an average one is how they respond when something goes wrong. In this case, there appeared to be little effort to find a solution for a customer who had already completed financing approval and was prepared to move forward with the purchase. Frank, thank you for confirming the deposit was cancelled. I am trying to better understand the timeline. Could you please provide the approximate times of: • Financing approval • Deposit request • Deposit receipt • Sale of the vehicle to the other customer - for all parties My concern is that financing had already been approved, loan terms provided, and a deposit requested before we were informed the vehicle was unavailable. I would simply like to understand the sequence of events. Time stamps, etc. if the timeline supports, then you should have no problem sharing a screenshot of those details in your response to this review. But, once again, never did they say “Let us see what we can do to make this right.”
This was a great visit. They diagnosed my problem and handled it quickly. This is my dealership from now on.
A big thank you and shout out to Brayden and Rodney who worked together and in a few minutes reconnected a panel on the front of my Chevy Equinox that somehow was coming lose. Sales associate was very helpful and courteous. The support staff was great. The financing part was very easy and effortless. A great selection of vehicles. Treated like a valued customer, since this was our first time buying from the dealership.
Normally service is decent. But this time when we left the lot one of tires low and a sales men approached my wife with an offer to buy a new suburban and with our trade would have put us in additional 40,000+ in debt. So basically tried to sale us a suburban ls for 96,000. SMH
The service technician checking in my car was outstanding. His name was James. Hope he gets recognized for his outstanding performance in assisting me and getting my car repaired.

Had a great experience with everyone until the Tahoe was cleaned to go and it was still so dirty. I pushed the seat back and there were french fried under the seat and not vacuumed and Kris the saleman was made aware and all he did was take a picture of it and said nothing. I dont believe this was good service. Whe have bought 2 vehicles in the last month and expected better.
I can’t say enough great things about Kai! I honestly went into the dealership thinking there was no way I’d be leaving with a vehicle that day. My credit wasn’t in the best position, and I was really just looking for guidance on what I needed to do to prepare myself for the future. Kai never made me feel discouraged.
